MNEVMO is local-first. Your recordings, transcripts, and everything you type stay on your Mac. We do not collect them, we do not see them, and we do not send them anywhere. This website has no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts. The only time we receive anything from you is when you choose to email us.
Nothing automatically. The site does not require an account, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you. If you email support@mnevmo.com, we receive the email address you write from and the message you send, and we use them only to reply to you.
Both apps are local-first: the work stays on your device.
Recordings and transcription run on your Mac. There is no mandatory cloud upload for core transcription and search, and your recordings, transcripts, and exports never reach us. Nothing you record or generate is used to train models, shared, or sold.
Layout correction happens locally on your Mac. What you type is not collected, stored by us, or sent anywhere.
You decide what to record, when, and with whom. MNEVMO does not start recording on its own, and it does not obtain, verify, or manage consent from the people you record. Recording another person, and getting any consent that requires, is between you and the people in the conversation. Recording laws vary by country and situation, and you are responsible for knowing what applies to you. See our Terms of Use.
The recordings, transcripts, and text you create with MNEVMO are yours. Nothing you record or type is used to train models, shared with third parties, or sold. You can delete your content at any time, and you can revoke microphone or accessibility access at any time in System Settings, independently of the app.
This website: none. Fonts are served from this site itself, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to anyone else. We do not use an analytics provider, and there is no advertising or tracking code.
MNEVMO Memory: cloud AI is switched off by default. If you connect an external provider in Settings (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini), the text you send for that feature goes to that provider under their own privacy policy. You supply your own API key, it is stored in the macOS Keychain, and you can remove it at any time. Speech and speaker models are downloaded once from Hugging Face; only the model file is transferred, never your content.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may use minimal functional storage only where needed for the page to work.
We may update this policy as the MNEVMO apps ship. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
